The unique characteristics of our area mean that our wines are unmistakeable, with a decisive character, complex fragrance notes and great elegance and finesse. We use native varieties to bring back traditional old flavours, while we try to ensure that international varieties are imbued with the unique characteristics of our surroundings.
The assortment of wines available from the Girlan Winery comprise three quality levels: Classici, Vigneti and Selezioni
Our “Selzioni” wines, the crowning glory of our assortment.
High-quality wines subjected to stringent quality controls, and coming from selected slopes of Girlan and Mazzon. The situation of the vineyards, their climatic conditions, degree of slope, and soil properties are all chosen to optimally match the given variety of grape. The goal is to bring out all the potential and authenticity of the individual variety. All of these wines display a marked fruitiness, full body, elegance, finesse, and impressive durability. And the individually designed labels of the bottles serve to underscore their uniqueness.
Our “Vigneti” wines are made from carefully chosen grapes from our best slopes.
The appropriate vineyard slopes were chosen for the individual varieties of grape on the basis of extensive experience. The selected harvested grapes are separately pressed, fermented, and carefully aged. These wines have a pronounced character and distinctive bouquet with fresh, fruity notes. They are characterized by elegant tannins, pleasant, inviting individuality, and a harmonious body.

The wines of this line are characteristic of the variety of grape from which they are made, and display a distinct flavor. These wines are delectably inviting, and display a harmonious structure with rich, fruity notes and a mineral accent.
