
Production area
"Lago di Caldaro Scelto" is grown in an area around Lake Caldaro. The vines grow on hills exposed to the sun at an altitude between 350 and 450 m above sea level. The sandy alluvial soil has contributed specifically to the typical flavour of Lago di Caldaro.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and fermented at controlled temperature in stainless steel vats, with subsequent malolactic fermentation. This is followed by refinement in cement vats.
