
It is an all-round red that is particularly recommended for serving with game, roast meat and cheese.
Production area
The grapes come from the warm, sunny slopes of Santa Maddalena (Bolzano), at an altitude of 450 - 500 m above sea level, in well aired vineyards. The vines grow in clay and lime soil.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and fermented at controlled temperature in stainless steel vats, with subsequent malolactic fermentation. This is followed by refinement in cement vats.
