Production area
One third of the grapes chosen for this extraordinary wine come from the Cornaiano area in the Oltradige hills, at an altitude of 450 - 500 m above sea level. They are grown in different vineyards with an age between 10 and 15 years. The other two thirds come from the Bassa Atesina - Mazon. The combination of mineral-rich gravel and clay soils gives this wine its unique character.
Vinification
Four hours’ maceration allows the aromas to be extracted. After harvesting, the grapes are soft pressed. Fermentation at controlled temperature takes place in steel vats. Refinement in steel barrels on fine lees for eight months.
