We recommend serving this wine with shellfish, flavoured cheeses and desserts, such as strudel.
Production a rea
Gewürztraminer originates in Alto Adige. The grapes are slightly red. Gewürztraminer is grown near to Egna and Montagna in the area called Bassa Atesina, where conditions are optimum. The light, warm area and the sunny, slightly inclined slopes are beautifully expressed in the glass.
Vinification
Grapes are harvested at the peak of their ripeness, which then expresses itself in the intense bouquet and full, harmonious palate. Maceration with successive soft pressing. Fermentation at controlled temperature in steel vats to protect the aromas against oxidation. Maturation occurs in stainless steel vats with inhibition of malolactic fermentation for eight months on fine lees.
