Production area

The grapes are grown on the hillside vineyards of  Cornaiano at an altitudes ranging from 450 to 500 m above sea level in well aired vineyards. The area in which they are grown is rich in minerals, the result of ice age sedimentation.

Winemaking

The grapes are picked by hand and placed in small containers to  prevent excess pressure on the grapes. Destemming and slow must fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Malolatic fermentation and aging in concrete vats.

Tasting notes & food matching

The Schiava grape varietal and all of its variations are exceptional traditional vines from this area which are meeting with ever more success.  This wine has a fine, delicate, harmonious and velvety aroma.  It is a lively, young and inviting red that can be served on any occasion.
