Production area

The grapes come partly from the hillside vineyards of the Oltradige at an altitudes ranging from 450 to 500 m above sea level in well aired vineyards, and partly from vineyards located in Mazon and Montagna in the Bassa Atesina. The clay and lime soil is ideal for Pinot Nero, giving it a velvety softness and an elegant structure.


The grapes are picked by hand and placed in small containers to  prevent excess pressure on the grapes. Destemming and slow must fermentation (12-15 days) in stainless steel tanks (gravity-flow). Malolatic fermentation and aging for 15 months partly in big wooden barrels, partly in barrique and 6 months in the bottle.

Tasting notes & food matching

This Pinot Noir is a variegated wine with an excellent, markedly fruity structure. Thanks to its full-bodied, velvety structure, this wine is an excellent choice for drinking with meat dishes.
